Hello There,

My name is Tom Parker. I'm glad to be helping on the PRC development team. I'm a private pilot with an instrument rating. I have been flying since 1999 and have 260 real-world hours. Flying for me is a hobby, but I come from a family of pilots and have been around the aviation community my whole life. My father is rated Commercial-Multi Instrument. He worked for Pratt & Whitney on the airworthiness team investigating airliner accidents internationally with the NTSB, FAA and other gov't agencies for over 20 years. My brother is a professional pilot, currently flying ERJ-145's with Continental Express. I'm a computer software programmer currently on a team developing control software for a UAV (unmanned air vehicle) ground control station. I was also a flight test engineer providing ground station support during UAV initial flight testing and operations testing.

I'm very excited about helping to contribute to the PRC. I only have about 50 hours on VATSIM so far, so most of my contributions to the PRC will be drawn from real-world experience.
