Q1. Can I add a question to this page?
This page is open to anyone who wants to add questions or answers, or edit them. You are encouraged to do so.

Q2. Where is the full lesson list for the PRC 2nd Phase?
The Phase2 lessons page has all of the individual subjects that are being developed. As each lesson begins development, the title of the lesson will be changed to a WikiWord (double caps with no spaces), if that has not already been done. That WikiWord will link to that lesson's web page. If the page has not been created yet, the link takes you to a blank page where the author can place the lesson text and create the page. The lesson can be commented on, edited, and finalized on the lesson pages.

Q3. Can Anyone edit a Lesson page? CategoryLessons
One problem with The Wikipedia Encyclopedia and its concept is that anyone can edit anything whether they have a PHd in the subject or know diddly-squawk about it so you have no way of knowing how accurate the entries are. We are attempting to control that by monitoring the registered user list for names that are not directly associated with the PRC 2nd phase. That is the reason for insisting on using full name when registering. The site administrator MikeBevington will block unknown registrants from having write access to lesson pages. If a page does get hosed up, it can be restored to any previous version of the page in seconds. Please see this example of controling who can edit your page.

Q4. My understanding is that all of the phase 2 writing from here on out will be done on the Wiki site. Is that correct?
Yes, that is the plan. The Wikka software allows for collaborative writing that has been proven to deliver articles that are more complete, more accurate, and faster. We all need to get used to it and approach the concept with a positive attitude.

Q5. How do you set the "owner" of the page?
The owner is set in the Edit ACLs menu that the site administrator MikeBevington, and possibly the page owner, have access to. There is a drop down menu that allows the quick assignment of ownership of the page to any one of the registered site members.

Q6. Are the individual lessons only moved to the main page after they have been completed?
I (Bevington) am not yet sure how to handle the front page links. Initially I posted a few there just to try out that approach. But I am thinking of abandoning that in favor of pointing everyone to the Phase2 page.

Q7. Is it necessary to post the lessons in the VATSIM Development Forum∞ as well as on the Wiki site?
Kyle and I (Bevington) will have to work that out and come to an agreement moving forward. Stand by for an answer.

Q8. Will the formatting that we do in Wiki (Shadow boxes/Word coloring/italics etc.) be included in the final lesson release?
Yes, but the question is who will do the transformation from the PrcDevelopment Wiki to the HTML PRC version. The PRC uses minimal formatting which this site can also handle. My (Bevington) intention is to appoint a new editor for PRC content which will be called "Director - PRC Content". This is a position I am anxious to fill.

Q9. How can I insert an image into my lesson?
I have created an folder on the server and am granting FTP access for the purpose of uploading images needed in your lessons. Access to the FTP and to the instructions are restricted to PRC authors.
